A significant order for the Raumaster from Stora Enso's Oulu factory
Raumaster Oy and Stora Enso Oulu Oy have signed a significant equipment supply contract to Stora Enso's Oulu plant. The contract is part of a project published by Stora Enso to convert the Oulu factory's paper machine 6 line into a cardboard machine line.
Raumaster’s delivery scope consist of chip transport from the new debarking plant to the new storage silos and from there further through thickness screening to the mechanical pulp plant. Systems will be commissioned in stages within 2024 and 2025.
The degree of Finnish origin for the Oulu project deliveries is ca. 70 percent. The project will have a significant impact on workload in Raumaster and its several subcontractors. The parties have agreed not to disclose the contract amount.
Raumaster is a technology group based in Rauma and founded in 1984. The company supplies material handling systems to the energy, pulp, and paper industries around the world. Raumaster’s turnover in the last financial year was more than EUR 150 million. The company currently employs about 400 people.
